Who may use it
Finances is a private application with a single user, Johannes Kantorczyk, who is also its author. It is not offered to the public and it accepts no registrations. There is nothing here to sign up for and no service being sold.
What it does
It reads account information from banks and brokers where the user holds accounts in his own name, and it presents balances, transactions, income and spending in one view. Access is read-only. The application requests account information scopes only, never a payment initiation scope, and it has no capability to transfer funds or to act on an account.
Bank consent
Every bank connection requires the user to approve access in his own bank's application, for named accounts, for a limited period of at most 180 days. Some banks grant a shorter period. Approval can be withdrawn at any time in the bank's own app, at which point the connection stops working and has to be approved again before any further data can be read.
Accuracy
Figures shown are derived from what the banks report and are for personal information only. They are not statements of account, not advice, and not a substitute for the bank's own records. Where the two disagree, the bank is right. The application is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and the author accepts no liability for decisions taken on the basis of what it displays.
